chocolate milkshake

Whenever I think of this cold beverage (I’d really consider it more as a dessert, but I digress), nostalgia comes to mind, as well as some fond travelling memories…

My earliest memory of this drink actually isn’t attributed to some sort of diner-esque eating establishment, but of a local McDonald’s. It was sold in one size (large) and from what I remember, three flavours (vanilla, strawberry, chocolate). I remember it being more like a giant cup of ice cream, as it was rather thick and you could really only consume it with a spoon… the straw that they provided was quite useless…
